This warehouse position requires a lot of hands-on manipulation of the product. We're looking for someone who can handle the physical demands. The right candidate is also one who thrives on only a moderate level of guidance/supervision and is highly aware of the impact of their individual results on the team as a whole.


  • Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and receiving merchandise

  • Ensure that all outbound shipments are processed and staged prior to carrier pick-up

  • Ensure that containers are emptied based on a priority list and that product is available on or before the required shipment date

  • Ensure that all external receipts, including consolidated items are processed the same day as received

  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or pallets according to predetermined warehouse locations

  • Ensure that inventory is maintained in organized locations, stacked in an aligned and tidy manner, properly labeled, and in sealed boxes

  • Ensure all counts are accurate, carrier signatures properly obtained, and discrepancies or damage are noted and actioned accordingly

  • Perform all additional duties as assigned by Management for Facilities & Equipment

  • Ensure that all floors, offices, and workspaces are kept clean and well organized daily and conduct a weekly thorough site cleanup

  • Ensure that all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and that preventative maintenance needs are being documented and met

  • Ensure that safety and environmental guidelines are followed

  • Ensure all garbage and recycling is placed in the correct location(s) prior to waste management pick-up


  • Ability to understand and communicate well in English

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

  • Must be prompt and act in a timely manner, be a team player, and have good organizational skills

  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally move or lift up to 50 pounds.
